hey u guys..r u applying online or by mail?

Online...sometimes it's free or the fee is reduced..plus it's easier in my opinion.

I'm doing all of mine online. Two of the applications are free and one was reduced by like $10 I think. Everything's a lot easier and more organized too, not to mention I won't have to fill out all those forms in my bad handwriting. :P

Online.
Besides the fact that most of the schools Im applying to clearly state they prefer online I rather not deal with all the stresses of snail mail. (Its easier to just hit a Submit link!)

I'm submitting my applications via cell phone.

^ha, ha. actually that would work if you had wifi cellphone internet.

btw, i'm delivering all of my applications to 14 schools by hand in order to prove my dedication to each and every one.

Mail, the counselors finish up the apps at my school and package them up, you have to bring 5 stamps per app, one for a postcard too (you put your name on the postcard).
-You put the postcard w/ stamp, your name on return address and send address, explanation & in big letters, the college
-Postcard is put in app envelope
-App envelope is opened, they see the postcard with explanation, they drop it in the mailbox.
-You get a postcard that says "SoAndSo University" and you know they got the app.

Our school is really against online apps and basically won't help you if you have problems. On the other hand, if you do mail apps, they really help you out. So, the choice is clear.

BTW, you CAN fill out the Common App online and generate the forms for printing, too.

Keep in mind if you apply online, once you send the first app out to a school it is locked and nothing can be changed. So if you apply EA to a school in November and want to add something or change something before you apply regular decsion you cannot.

That's why D is applying snail mail

^ratedpg- what are you talking about?
that's only for commonapp.

online 100% for me.

calm down johnson, the question wasn't asked just for school-specific apps.

online ftw

That wasn't calm?
