<p>How many of you just use the limited space provided to describe your EC's? As you all know activity list is an idea from Acing the College Application. The space provided are just too limited but I don't think admission officers like to read extra information. Any thoughts?</p>

<p>Simply put, if you really don’t have enough space to list all the activities you’ve done that are important to you, attach a succinct, clear, non-redundant resume.</p>
<p>^what about when there is not enough room on the online app to describe the EC or award?</p>
<p>I listed a bunch of abbreviated stuff and you can’t really understand all of it, so I put it in the “additional information” section with clearer description and more relevant info. thats ok right?</p>

<p>Sounds fine if they’re not self-explanatory activities, you seriously can not fit in a short description (after making your best effort to do so), and have used the 150 short answer for another activity. Many people have run into the same problem and done the same thing:</p>
