are you...?

Yes, but Im waiting to recieve offers of admission. I'd like to give them something to remember me by and thank them for everything that they did for me.

By no means do you have to, but it's very fullfilling to feel that the students you teach go on to do something in life and are greatful for the teaching that their teacher's gave.

yeah i got into two of my DREAM schools...like literally schools i never even imagined were possible for me...so i want to get those teachers something but i dont know what...

Give them a coffee mug :). Seriously tho it doesnt have to be something super expensive, just something that reminds them of the great students that they created. Heck, my counselor has already told me that he expects door magnets :).

haha thats a cute idea! first i have to decide which college i will go to! ill get it after May then :)

Did you already give them thank-you notes? I think a note of thanks is a good idea before the decisions come out. That way you can express your gratitude for their time and effort, and you can avoid irony or sarcasm in tone that might creep into a note written after a rejection.

no i didnt...no one in my school really gives anything until like the last day of school but thats a good idea i should have done that, too late now...im very happy with my schools so it wont be sarcastic...even the one school i got rejected from...im now happy as hell they didnt accept me

btw im happy cause it was ED so if i got in it woulda been binding...lol...i realized it sounded insane that i wrote i was happy if it was RD since all an RD acceptence is...is a choice

gave coffee mugs from my college with Starbucks goodies inside after I found out about my ED acceptance.

afterwards, my mom asked me if any of them said "I knew you would get in" or something along that lines, and I realized they were all genuinely surprised that I actually got in, hehe.
