are you going to JHU?

I am trying to decide between JHU, Penn, and Chicago. help!! I want to study IR.... is anyone else making a tough decision like this??

Somehow I didn't get any E-mail from JHU. So I don't know if I'm admitted. But if I were you, I'd definately choose JHU if you intend to go into IR (because I am). JHU has one of the finest IR program (I belive it's second nationwide) and, correct me if I'm wrong, but it has its independent building dedicated to IR.

Now that I'm getting series of rejection letters, I keep my fingers crossed for getting into JHU.

I am choosing between JHU, Chicago, and W&M. I plan to study Econ and IR. I was going to go to USMA before I got into all of these awesome schools. As a side note, I got waitlisted at UVa and I'm in state, go figure?

weird. yeah that is a tough choice for you, too. i've heard that chicago's econ program is amazing.

I think I'm going to turn down JHU. They have an excellent IR program but mainly for Graduates in DC where the IR school is. I don't think the undergrad IR program at JHU is as good aas the undergrad Econ program at Chicago. I'm sure someone will try and tear me to pieces on this.

IR = International Relations?

Not to hijack this thread or anything, but I also go into Penn and Hopkins... how are the PoliSci at both?

interesting, i also got into Penn,Vanderbilt and JHU for BME. And it seems so hard to make a decision. JHU didn't give me any financial aid whereas Penn is need blind...

VISIT, VISIT, VISIT. This is the best way to find out which school will be right for you.

And if you can't visit -- then virtually visit. I know at JHU we provide you with chats, blogs, message boards, webcams, a full admitted student site -- you can really learn a lot about our school and see if we are right for you.
