<p>I've seen dozens of posts about JHU BME and pre-med questions, but the latest US News & World Report had 12% of the UG planning on International Relations/Economics majors and 11% for biomedical/BME. There any other CC'ers who are going to JHU and planning on studying IR? Does anyone know anything else about the 5yr BA/MA program (3 yrs at Homewood, 2 at SAIS) besides what's listed on the website? And does the competition (overplayed or otherwise) for BME exist for IR too?</p>

<p>The 5 year SAIS program? I know it's the best in the nation, and it's really hard to get into.</p>
<p>The 5yr SAIS/BA program do you apply to that as a freshmen. I'm looking to transfer to JHU and that is something I would want to do. Is it still an option. I'm looking to go on to law school afterward, so a nice MA in IR would be nice as I want to practice International Law in D.C.</p>
