for those of you that have taken both the ACT and the SAT, will you be using the ACT to completely replace your SAT or will you be sending in both?

I'll be sending just my ACT everywhere.

19382 - where is everywhere?

just ACT, except for the UCs and Dartmouth, which happen to be the 2 schools on my list (of 20) that require sat 2s. damn them.

i'm applying in total for six UC's. i only sent my ACT score (33 UC Composite score because they use the combined English/Writing score :() to the three upper-tier UC's: UCB, UCLA, and UCSD. i am confident i will get into the other three so i have decided to just send my SAT scores to those universities.

SATs everywhere, ACTs only to a couple.

WUStL, BC, UNC-CH, Wake Forest, etc.

i'm sending mine to all the schools except for those that require SAT IIs--which for me are B.U. 7 year BS/MD, Northwestern HPME, and GW BA/MD

mechrocket: are you sure you dont need SAT 2's?

coopertemplegrl - yes you do, i will be sending those along with my sat 1 scores.

I'm sending in both. Most of my colleges said they can convert between the SAT and ACT and will pick the highest score.
