Are you guys attending?

Hi!

I was accepted this year but I’m still not sure about whether to attend or not. I’m still waiting on replies from my first choices so of course the decision will be affected by what happens on wednesday.

I just wanted to know if you guys are planning to attend, and more importantly why! I’m not 100% sold on the school so I want to hear the different opinons!

i was accepted but i am most likely not attending. ill probably attend USC, or Cornell if it accepts me (and offers a good financial package)

my main reason for not attending boston is that i kind of sorta forgot to send a document for financial aid lol… which renders me unable to afford a 50k/year tuition :[:[. kinda sucks though, i really liked the school

Can you send the document now?

i was missing documents and they let me send them in today

Just got my my ND rejection. Barring any Cornell related miracles I’ll likely be at BC.

BC is pretty great though. Its got great academics, hot girls, and its right near Boston. I don’t know if you’ve ever been to Boston but its a really nice city. Smaller than NYC (obviously) but with tons to do and see and a lot of history.

My only hesitation on it is that I live about 40 mins outside of Boston, and the idea of being so close to home is not that appealing to me. But I figure that I can go home as I choose and BC can be on the other side of the country if I want it to be!

I was sure I was going since the day I got my acceptance in December. BC has been my dream school for so long. I only applied to BC and am so excited for the fall! Definitely go to BC!

I’m not sure whether I will attend.
My concerns are a) the cost (probably will not receive any aid), b) the weather (I am so sick of the cold; BC is the only school north of Virginia I’m considering), and c) I don’t think I would really fit in there.

It is an amazing school in an amazing location and I know I would be lucky to attend; I’m just not sure if it’s the right school for me. I will have to wait until I find out about aid and figure it out.

i’m not attending for financial reasons. it was nice to get in though :)

I’m definitely going! BC’s been my top school for a while, and I’ve gone to nearly all of the football games the past 2 years just to keep my excited and motivated. Can’t wait!

I want to! hopefully FA comes back good!

I most likely will not attend. I like BC a lot but, a COA of 62k for internationals is a bit ridiculous.

Let me just say for those who screwed up financial aid forms, you CAN STILL SEND THEM IN NOW. I know, because I screwed up. Don’t say quits too soon, and send in the missing stuff now.

Accepted, but most likely will not attend. After financial aid, out of pocket expenses would be 47000, which is not possible for me.

Reading this thread makes me feel…less alone. I don’t qualify for any aid and the cost is obscene. Just out of curiosity, those who aren’t attending BC for financial reasons, where are you going?

i live in california, so i’m between UCLA and berkeley. i’m still waiting on FA from northwestern though, but i don’t think it’s going to be very good.
