Are you guys in relationships?

@mmallow: Yep. :+1:

It’s funny how you always see 2200+ SAT scores and 4.0 GPAs and all here but most people haven’t been in relationships. I believe there is a correlation.

P.S. I’m single.

Lol really though, it’s high school. Most relationships matter unless you’re going to the same college. People make better choices then.

I am transferring with my Associate in Science and have a 3.9 transfer GPA to the university, and I have been in a relationship for almost 3 years. There might be a correlation, but I agree on the fact that high school relationships should not matter, especially if you change your plans for someone.

I never would have guessed that after seeing your username.

We got a genius here!

I’m in a relationship of a little over 2 years and we’re both entering college next year.

Nope.

I was in one for two years and it really took a toll on my personality, so I’m giving myself a few years to settle down and try to focus on becoming a better person before I string along another person on the same rollercoaster ride…

Does a relationship work in college? My boyfriend broke up with me because he thought we had no future since he is a hc senior n im a junior.

My boyfriend and I recently broke up, we were really good friends before then and now we are currently friends with benefits so yeah that’s my relationship status

Who has time for girls when there are college applications to do?

i think i’m just not meant to be in a relationship or i’m just bad at them…i’ve had one and it went horribly, to say the least :/

and then i had another where i just dated a guy who’s in college and that was stupid.

now i just wanna wait until i get to college. i’m not interested in anyone at my high school, and i’m just so done. i walk through the halls like ā€œi’m done with you,ā€ ā€œhow did i ever consider you my friend,ā€ ā€œthis town sucksā€ LOL so yeah i’m just done. the next relationship i have, i want it to be while i’m in college, and i want it to be serious…i wouldn’t mind getting married when im around 20; i’m just sick of people who don’t take relationships seriously. i’m not a ā€œdatingā€ person; i need a relationship because i get attached when i like someone lol /rant is over now/

LOL relationship.

ā€˜Relationship’…is that an SAT word?
Gosh…I can’t think of its definition. Maybe that’s why I only got a 2320.

(Not serious.)

Nope. I probably won’t ever be in a relationship until college tbh.

I feel you.

This is such a depressing thread to read. Haha
High school relationships aren’t as bad as you make 'em out to be if you find someone worth trying it with.
I can understand having priorities though.

I’m in a relationship now (my senior year), but he goes to college near where I live and since I didn’t plan on leaving the state it works nicely. I’m not sure if I’d really consider it a ā€œHigh school relationshipā€ though. We dated fro 3 months while he was in high school. :p

Nope. And like TinnyT, I probably won’t be in one until college. I’m really shy and I go to an all-girls school anyway, so that’s part of it.

In a relationship now! He’s a college freshman but we met my sophomore/ his senior year in chorus. Was super excited to have met someone who’s nerdier than me and loves choral music. It still works because he ended up at the flagship which isnt that far away.

I could be, but I’m not. I know a few different girls that are interested in me and would date me if I asked them. But the girl I like doesn’t seem to know that I exist. Haha the struggle is real.

debater1996, do you even policy, bro?
