I've been reading a few of your posts and I really need to know - is this some elaborate continuous troll or are you being serious? 7th grade!??!!!

I have come to the conclusion that little Jonny K truly is a 7th grader, he just needs to loosen up a bit. He should do the following things: join a sport, gain some friends, and not be a perfectionist when it comes to spreading the mayo on his sandwiches.

He could be a troll, but he's not necessarily one. There are seventh graders like "him" (as he has constructed his online identity on this website). That said, he could certainly be trolling. The only reason why that makes very little sense to me is that he's not saying anything particularly ridiculous or provocative that I've seen (if he has and I've missed it, post a link). What's the point of trolling if you're not making people buy a ridiculous premise?

This is his view on gay marriage (Do We Care? Thread)

"Disgusting. Immoral. Wrong. Eww. Sick. Gross"

That sounds both inflammatory and like he's trying to imitate a 7th grader.

I think that he is relatively subtle is the genius of his troll (if he is trolling)

First of all, you spelled my name wrong.

Second, don't contradict my opinions. You have your's, I have mine.

No, I'm not a troll. Yes, I am in seventh grade. I do not take my classes under a bridge, nor do I swim near the dam on 5th St. for exercise. I am not an "internet troll" either. Even if I was a troll, (a real troll) wouldn't that be going against your beliefs? Aren't you a person who says, "We should accept everybody no matter what their race, sex, sexual orientation, etc. etc."

I'm curious, could you elaborate on why you think gay marriage is so wrong and why we should prevent people from having them?

Just to clarify, Hitler Youth, I wasn't infact talking about the fairytale trolls you might still be reading about (unless you've moved on to Harry Potter) - The only reason I thought you were trolling is because I can't see how anybody who hopes to get into Harvard can be so insular as to categorically denounce gays - you have a lot to learn even with your perfect 7th grade GPA.

In 7th grade, I barely knew what college was.

Either I was a really dumb little kid, or the middle schoolers today need to loosen up. The colleges don't even see your middle school grades. Wish I'd known that.

Not that I'm saying you shouldn't get good grades.

Yes, please do elaborate, Johnny Boy...

JK--

there is a lot that you need to learn, and you have A LOT of maturing to do. I don't have much against you, so I'm going to tell you this as a friendly warning:

You don't know enough to condemn, mock, or otherwise belittle a group of people because of things they can not help. (Or, in some cases, can.) You are one person who isn't even old enough to hold down a job or vote in '08, so think things through-- you aren't in any position to judge.

I knew what you meant by trolls. I was being sarcastic. I am not internet troll. I do not bring up old controversial threads, I do not post pictures as big as Texas, I do not flood the boards, I do not harass people, etc.

You're just offended that I think gay marriage is wrong.

"you aren't in any position to judge."

I believe I have a more logical opinion than some of the people who are voting in elections.

And no, I am not a supporter of Hitler like one of you have mentioned. I am offended by that. My grandmother's city was invaded by the Nazis. She watched her best friend get shot, along with many of her family members. Don't ever call me Hitler Youth again.

So come on then, elaborate on why you believe gay marriage is wrong

With facts rather than feelings and squeamishness.

Quote from http://www.soyouwanna.com/site/pros_cons/gaymarriage/gaymarriage2.html

" practice of homosexuality is a violation of the religious faith American society is based on. We have a responsibility to be sympathetic to our fellow human beings, but extending to homosexual couples the special privileges of the traditional family would undermine the sanctity of the family "

"Legalized same-sex marriage violates freedom of religion, since those who believe deeply that homosexuality is immoral, and that same-sex marriage is wrong, would be forced by the government to accept these "marriages."

I was hoping you'd say that.

I don't agree with everything in Bible. Who does?

Did you read the entire column?

And, for the record, I am a Christian, and I am more offended by loveless marriages and abusive relationships than I am two loving people getting married.

No, I did not read the whole article. I read most of it though. Enough to get your perspective. I still do think it is wrong. For reasons stated above.

I think people need to remember once and for all - nothing makes the Bible holy but the hype. A couple of guys wrote it hundreds of years ago and it's supposed to dictate popular opinion? What about everything that's been covered up? Too bad most people don't care to hear the truth.
Excellent article in the Miami Herald by the way.....maybe people will stop using the Bible to justify their hatred and ignorance.
