Did you know most homophobes are repressed homosexuals, evil asian? Think about that.

Jackson I have no clue where you're getting that from.
Asian: Its not the proper function of government to regulate any moral behavior. Your pseudoscience bs is no justification for opposing gay marriage. In a free society, adults should make choices of their own without any outside interference. Imposing your religious prejudice on people flies well in Iran, not in America.

Where are you getting that from jackson?

I'm going to refrain from discussing my opinions on this thread until people calm down.

for once, i agree with wicked.

Let's not start another debate here. People can think what they want. Save it for PMing.
hey JK - we have the same number of posts!

lol. I just noticed that. I was going to post that but I thought you'd say I was "immature and that I haven't gone through puberty" bits again...

no, too much of that on this thread. just people getting riled.

guys, just relax. so he's opposed to gay marriage. personally, i don't understand that, but hey- it's his belief and i'm not going to flame him for having his own convictions. plus, being liberal does entail having some sort of 'open-mind', so let's just remember that and try to keep down the bashing.

anyway, opposing gay marriage does not mean you're an imbecile destined for community college (GASP). you can be conservative and go to harvard...shocking, i know.

come on people, don't we have something better to do than bash some obnoxious seventh grader who may or may not be a troll? remember iwannagoivy or whatever? lol...

I just wish he would fully explain his views so I could show him the error of his ways (or possibly be convinced... whatever, I'm have an open mind if the argument is convincing enough)

i remember iwannagoivy.....and hotivywannabe or something......such an amusing way to spend the afternoon.

What did they do?

hotivywannabe was convinced that who's who in american high school scholars was a prestigious award and got offended when someone informed her it wasn't. that went on forever.....but it was hilarious.

lol, is the thread still around?

Isn't that some crappy mass mailing thing?

well, i guess the "wannabe" part of her name is justified.

prestigious award. phooey.

wicked-- yeah

i heard she got into harvard though - maybe it is prestigious! :-)

i don't know where to find it, btw

jk - im not going to tell you that your wrong or anything, i just want to state my own opinion that really, im not against gay marriage because frankly gay people cant help being gay and if they want to marry i cant really think of a really good reason to say no, and the bible isnt a really good excuse. like the others say, the bible also says that women are inferior to men, if you have sex before marriage the penalty is death, etc.

and all gays will get AIDS?? hmm...you said it was because men are more open to sex. well what about the women gays? and also, you dont have to be gay in order to get a sexually transmitted disease.

like i mentioned before, i think society is just going through another stage. like back then when blacks were campaigning for equal rights, when women wanted the right to vote or to get a divorce. i think it'll all eventually come through.

i think its all right for Jk to think that way, actually. when i was a couple years younger i thought it was my duty as a Christian to be anti-gay...i've grown up a little, i guess.
