In one group of my friends, I am. They all think I’m super smart and I always get bagged on for it when I start trying to explain something in the logical sense as compared to the funny sense. These are the people who will truly have my back no matter what.
In my other group of friends, definitely not. They are all super smart. These are the people who are going to really great schools (Stanford, UPenn, UCLA, etc) or that I am going to college with.

No, my friends are super smart and they have like half the perfect weighted gpas in the school… Does anyone eat Smart Ones, the frozen tv dinners? I love TV dinners.

I hate to say it, but I don’t really have a “group” of friends anymore. I have one really good friend, and we’re both pretty much equal in terms of academics (same exact courses except for language). Both top ten, both can’t put up with the pathetic people at our school… works out great. I just get along with her a lot easier than other people since she’s smart and just tends to be more rational, so we end up avoiding all of the petty arguments that usually happen in friendships where people have different levels of comprehension I’ll leave it at that since I’m already sounding conceited… I promise I’m not!

Anyway, we ended up in nearly all of the same classes this year, so it was just us and a few other kids from our classes that we talked to every day. The rest of them are all pretty smart though, so no one was really singled out as being the “smart one”.

Last year and in middle school, though, I was definitely the “smart one” in the group. One girl in our group was ranked higher than me, actually… but I was still the smart one in terms of being more studious and nerdy as well as the difficulty of our courses. I don’t really talk to them anymore though since my friendship with the one girl that pretty much holds the group together was ended completely. At the time, I had been much better friends with her than the rest of them so out I went With the exception of the one girl in the top ten, though, none of the rest of them are in any honors or are really focused on academics at all. They’re not dumb, but academics and schoolwork just isn’t their first priority.

Everyone thinks I’m omniscient. The funny thing is that I’m actually less knowledgeable than most of them – they assume that, since I know a lot that they don’t know, I have more knowledge. The fact is that I just have unusual interests, and that people assume that I already know most of what they know.

Knowledge aside, I am “the really smart guy.” People usually predict that I’ll win games, debates, etc. They’re usually right. } I’m just not as academic as I seem. Intellectual, yes; strategically-minded, yes; but educated, not nearly as much.

I have multiple friends in different groups, but for my main one… it depends on the subject at hand. I’m the only one who gives a flying f*** about politics and world issues, and I suppose I’m pretty good at History. But I have friends who are geniuses in science and social studies, unlike me >.>

Except for one friend-- she’s taking 7 APs next year as a hybrid junior-senior, and is graduating at 16. If I remember correctly, she’s taking AP Lang, reg. Econ/Gov (school req.), and driver’s ed this summer.

And taking AP: Physics, Chem, Env., Lit, US, Calc AB, Calc BC next year.

I DON’T UNDERSTAND IT

In my school people think i’m the smartest person in the whole school, which is probably true, but not at all a big deal considering how small my school are, and how small are most students ambitions. Plus it helps that im very sociable, so everybody knows me and knows how smart i am.

In my group of closest friends, its funny because i’m the smartest one AND the party girl. My closest friends are all kinda smart, but they are a bit shy and anti-social (one of them prefers to stay at home during a saturday night to play some pokemon game on wii than to go to a concert or a bar or something =P)

Huh, that’s the opposite of me. My debater-friends are all into law and politics, and I’m the rare debater who would rather study biology than go to law school.

With some of my friends I’m the smart one with my other friends I’m the overachiever/ wanna be asian who is above average.

Yeah… my “friends” which are mostly asian hate when they get into debates with me. Because then I go off and just whip them.
