Area of interest????

<p>Hi guys, i have a question on choosing majors.
In my common app supplement, i wrote economics as my 1st area of interest under LSA.
But on my acceptance, it just said major undecided. Is it supposed to be like this??</p>

<p>And if it is that we choose it after 1st year, is it possible that i can't major economics, perhaps because too many people signed up for it??</p>

<p>I know that 1st year goes without specific majors, but then why did they make us write interested majors in the supplement?? I’m sort of confused… I thought we’ll still be listed in certain majors even thought we don’t take those courses until 2nd year</p>
