Arizona Letters

awe, sorry hao.

but huge HUGE congrats to Alumother!!!!!!!!! You have a much saught after several sheets of paper right now!!

sonicyouth,
I am from Dunwoody. I haven't gotten anything (the small-envelope variety) from Yale or Penn, whose decisions I know are coming after checking online. I got a UChicago letter on friday... but not exactly the same type of school here. Tufts apparently mailed out on Wednesday (checked this one's decision online, should be a big-envelope :-/) but it hasn't arrived yet (which allows for some hope that the mail might be a little slow?).

Sorry bout harvard. one of my friends applied there, but she is out of town now, don't know what the decision was, although i am sure that if it is was accept, she would have told me.

Yeah, I haven't checked any decisions online yet so I don't know whether I'm accepted to Yale or not. But nothing has come and it's making me anxious. But I'm like you in that I know I'm supposed to be getting a Dartmouth package, and it hasn't come yet, so maybe there's hope that the postal service is just really really slow. I live near city of Atlanta/ city of Decatur/ Druid Hills area but nothing yet. So we'll see. Good luck!!!

good luck to you too! gosh... i really want our mail to come tomorrow... i am just so unproductive when I am waiting like this...

i haven't seen any acceptances/rejections from Georgia yet. Looks like we still have hope. Maybe tomorrow!

i hope so! i really, really want ...

ok. everyone knows what i want. :-/
gosh... the waiting. it really sucks.

ARGH!!! I am to the point where I am beyond cursing the post office.

yeah. i got a letter january 15 from a friend in california that was postmarked in december. that's when i really started not liking the postal service. my mail carrier's really nice though, but the USPS in general... grrr.... ahh well. this will all be over soon. hopefully by the time i wake up tomorrow morning.

by the time you wake up!??? oh... you have spring break... yes, my sister and brother are also in dekalb county schools. I guess it is everywhere at once... all counties i mean. i go to a private school... we don't have spring break for 3 more weeks. :( i will be in physics taking a test for an hour and a half while the mail comes. then calc for 45 min before i rush home to skope the mailbox. then... off to soccer practice. arg... i hate school sometimes! it really gets in the way

i actually think you're lucky. i stayed home for spring break because i wanted to get my decisions, and if they're bad, i'll feel like i wasted my senior spring break. the mail hasn't come yet, but i'm parked in front of the window waiting for him lol

well the mail did come today. i should have gone out of town for spring break. lol.

rejected: yale, princeton
waitlisted: NYU (of all places)

at least my dartmouth package came today. I'm almost positive that's where I'll end up, which was my close second choice anyway. So I'm happy. :)

soanyhows - thanks. We are really clear on how fortunate we are.

I just got my rejection from Princeton, but received the trustee (full scholarship) from USC, so I'm still rather happy.

Well, I finally got my letter.

It was a small one, just like the last one :(

Ah well, Northwestern or Penn, here I come!

hao, silmon - u two rock! we will meet sometime in NYC! or we could just meet sometime in phx....hahahaha =P but i was definitely cheering u two on, but at least u both have great second options!
