I know ASU is opening up a new med school in a few years, but was wondering if it would be a good choice now for pre-med. What are the medical school acceptance rate percentages for ASU? Lastly, which is the more difficult major, biochemistry or biology and which would you reccommend?

1) You can satisfy ALL pre-med reqs at a community college. So you don't need to be in any official pre-med program.

2) Difficulty for a major is relative...only you knowwhat you are capable of. Either major willbe challenging, but which interests you the most. (FYI: you don't need to be a science major to apply to med school)

3) If you want to go to med schoo, just do the pre-reqs. And should ASU have a program ready when you are ready to apply, great! If not, apply elsewhere.
