Pre-Medicine Question

Biochemistry, Biology , or Chemistry -- Which degree do you find most suitable for pursuing Pre-Medicine? Personally, I find Biochemistry to be a rather monotonous topic to pursue for the next years of my academic life. Should I double major in biology and chemistry as opposed to selecting one? I need someone's insight into my current dilemma. Thank you.

med schools don't need you to major in anything related to science. in fact, non-science majors add variety to your educational experience and to the med school class, so they are looked well upon by adcoms. as long as you have the required undergrad courses and run the whole gamut with ECs, research, test scores...you're good to go. so pick a major you like.

i've been told many times by doctors that you don't get a real advantage by majoring in something science-related. after the first couple months of med school, everybody is back on the same level because everything you will learn is new.

so enjoy your undergrad years!
