Where can my friend find application instructions for the AR Governor's Scholars Program (Google is being sadly non-compliant)? More specifically, how can SAT scores be submitted? The Arkansas Department of Higher Education is not showing up on the CB search.

I'm sorry to make an entirely new thread for something irrelevant to most people's lives. I really don't know where to find this information, though.

has a link to a pdf file containing the rules and regulations for that scholarship. I’m guessing the info you need is buried in there somewhere.

I’d read that document before, but I guess I didn’t read it closely enough. For anyone that stumbles upon this thread in the future, this is excerpted from “Rule 4 – Scholarship Selection Criterion” of the rules and regulations document:

“High school counselors or principals shall supply high school records to include ACT or SAT examination scores. The principal or counselor will verify the accuracy of the scores.”

It sounds as if no official score reports needs to be submitted–the “unofficial” school records on the backs of transcripts seem to be enough.

If I find out any more information (my friend is asking the counselor), I’ll post more.
