Hi! I am beginning to look into colleges and am considering applying to Dartmouth. I'm not sure what I want to study yet, though I am interested in visual art, anthropology, foreign languages, and history. Does anyone know much about the art and anthropology departments at Dartmouth? Thanks!

Anthro is awesome. There is a full research grant available so on your off term you basically get a grant from Dartmouth of up to $10K to fund your thesis research. Its a passport to anywhere in the world. I know kids who studied voodoo in Haiti, cultural studies in the pacific, hospitals in africa, biological anthro in the mid east, etc. You get a one-on-one class to prepare, then one-on-one access to a professor fo your thesis. You end up knowing them pretty well (they even invite you over for dinner!) Also, the professors overall are incredibly accessible.

Anthropology FSP (foreign study program) is in New Zealand.
