<p>Is Art (studio art) a closed program or can any student take a drawing or painting class as an elective?</p>
<p>Most, if not all, of the studio art classes have the “Restricted to Arts Majors or Intending to Major in Art” designation. If you go online and check the “Time Table of Classes” under the Academic Programs Link, then click on the CRN and description of the class, it will say whether it is restricted or not. Not sure if they stick to that rule or if Professors are more lenient and would let a student who is not a major take the class. You could email one and ask. Good luck!</p>
