<p>I really enjoy doing abstract pen sketches. However, I don't know if they are considered as "fine art" by universities. Could someone please explain what an art supplement actually requires. Also, do I actually send my work to the university or do I scan the drawing and upload on the commonapp?</p>
<p>Sorry if this is a silly question. No student from our school ever sent such a supplement so I am a bit confused :/</p>
<p>Usually the colleges will give instructions. Originals are not sent usually they will use Slideroom. Probably you don’t want to send if you haven’t had a studio arts class. I would ask an arts teacher if your pieces show talent. You want to send something above average.</p>
