She was accepted at Purchase College in the BFA Acting Program. She is still waiting to hear from a few programs and also some international programs where she had “recall” auditions. Can’t wait for this to all be over.

Same for my D. It really stung. Was hard even though we also knew how tough it was.
got a rejection from wright state (mt/acting) and a waitlist at rider acting today.

It’s hard making it as far as our kids did, to then get cut. Their minds, including us as parents, begin to dream….”wow! We are so close, this may really be happening!” It’s almost easier to get cut right away than to go the distance like they did! On the flip side, it validates talent for them as they navigate this process! Glass half full!! Your child is exceptionally talented to have made it as far as they did! Keep fighting the good fight! I know they will land in the perfect place for them.

Parent of tall blonde girl here. We have 1 BFA acceptance, One BA MT Performance acceptance and two waitlists (One BFA MT and one BM) It’s tough for these kiddos. Hang in there.

Hi there My D is admitted academically but is eagerly awaiting info on MT at Pace - how long ago did you hear about being waitlisted?
We heard yesterday from PACE, they sent an email saying to check the portal.
