I'm auditioning for vocal performance at two colleges that "strongly recommend" an attached artistic resume. For those of you in the know, what does this entail? Do I list awards, performances, roles, etc. in different categories or group it by time? Should I only use information from high school, or is elementary and middle school fair game? If anyone has a prototype resume I can look at, that would be even better.

My computer crashed or I would pm you a link but if you google ‘artistic resume’ you will come up some good outlines. Also try a search of this forum- I think one of the “dads” posted a link to the one S used. He didn’t include anything from middle school- just summer after BUT if you have musical theatre stuff it may be fair game? (as in lead role in a community or above theatre performance).

Do not include anything from elementary school, and only include middle school if you had a lead/featured role or were a section lead/concertmaster/soloist in an auditioned ensemble.
