Artists at top LAC's/Ivies

I've been extremely involved in art throughout highschool. Along with a 4.0, 2150sat/32act, copious volunteer work and having leadership in other clubs/organizations, would I be sought after as a visual artist? I don't often see people on CC or similar sites that apply to these colleges with a focus on painting, drawing, sculpture, etc.?

In short, would being involved and talented at visual art give me a leg up above other candidates?

Schools applied/applying to: Brown, Princeton, Middlebury, Bowdoin, Emory, University of Georgia, Georgetown and Swarthmore.

Send in an arts supplement, they will have it reviewed by their art departments and if they think you’re talented, it will be a plus.

For a leg up, you would have had to have taken your art to a professional level. I interviewed a candidate last year for one of your ivies who had her work shown in major galleries across the country and was paying her own tuition with her earnings. There are many artists at ivies and they are valued as much as kids with any real talent.
