On the peer recommendation form, it says something like you may turn in your peer recommendation anytime. If I'm also submitting an arts supplement, does the "anytime" mean anytime before the arts supplement deadline (Dec 20) or anytime before the January deadline?

Anytime before the January deadline.

What about the main application and supplement? If I’m submitting an arts supplement, do I have to get the application in by Dec 20 too?

2nd question: From the website, it seems like Williams only hold on-campus interviews?

Your arts supplement is sent directly to the music/dance/art department and must be in any time before the arts deadline. Your application is separate and is submitted online or by mail to the admissions office anytime before their deadline. So no, your application does not have to be in as early as the arts supplement.

The reason for the difference in dates is simply to allow time for the arts departments to evaluate your submission and then report their recommendations to the admisssions office.

Yes, Williams does hold some on campus interviews, but an interview is not required. My DS did not interview, and he did submit an arts supplement!

Oh, I was wondering because some schools require the applicant to submit his entire application by the arts supplement deadline as well, for the arts supplement to be considered. Apparently Williams is not one of those schools then. :)

Does Williams hold off-campus interviews?

I found this info:
“The best way to submit a Peer Evaluation is by emailing an attached PDF version of a completed evaluation to Admissions.Office@Dartmouth.edu with “Peer Eval” in the Subject line of the email.”

Is it valid for Williams, too?

Hi i’m an international applicant and i was wondering when is the peer recommendation due exactly? is it the same time as the application? coz it’d take me a week to post the rec to USA unless it’s really possible to send it in PDF form to the email mentioned–> is it really possible has anyone tried it?

thanks!

It’s due whenever.

Also, I don’t know about the PDF file sending. Generally, they prefer snail mail over electronics for test scores like SAT so I think they would also prefer the more “traditional” way of submitting parts of your application.

ALSO, if it’s too much trouble, don’t kill yourself to submit it. It’s not required and most people get accepted without them. It’s just to see what type of a person you are outside of school but if your essay is well-written, they should garner that information from that aspect of your application. Redundancy is not something you want to go for.
