Sending in application last...BAD??

I don't see myself submitting my application until pretty near the deadline. Teacher recommendations and the school transcript will probably arrive first. I would open a file by paying, but Williams wants the supplement, Common App, & check all together.
1) Can I send in my peer recommendation first? Will they make a file out of that only? (I've already interviewed with them if that makes a difference...)
2) Will they throw out teacher recs if they don't have my application?

thanks

well to that second question, the answer is i don't think so.
Most students give the teacher rec to the teachers 4-5 weeks prior to the deadline, and some teachers like to send them in early, so they won't throw them out. And yes, they'll probably make ur file if they receive one of ur stuff. Just know that you are not the only one sending in common app later than recs and colleges know how to deal with this.

I'm a frosh here now and I definitely sent in my common app via internet on December 31st.
cools
(not that i'd recommend taht.....)

thanks guys

haha yea I think I'll be sending things in around that date..but I think my parents will make me get everything out before Christmas vacation, which is will be very relaxing.

Cools--How is your first year so far? Are you glad you chose Williams over whatever other schools you were looking at?

Oh yea, i'm completely satisfied... well, more than satisfied with Williams! It's such a great place. If you've got any more questions, just aim me. same name as CC.

how much harder is it for RD to get in?

thanks. Yea I really loved Williams but I'm afraid its too small. I want a school where I don't know EVERYONE--privacy is nice sometimes. I'm applying to Williams regardless of its size, though.

While 2,000 is relatively small, at 2,000 students you certainly won't know even close to everyone.
