I realize that there is an art supplement where you can show the school your talent in the arts. However, if you want to send them an audio of your singing, do they only want classical/opera? I know schools such as Stanford allow other genres like Jazz, but do other Ivy's like Princeton allow genres outside of just opera?

Yes, they accept a Jazz submission. “Jazz instrument composition or voice – Include a 10- to 15-minute submission of advanced solo work.”

I do think you should note that it states “advanced” indicating a high level of jazz training, and that it would not be advisable, as one poster had suggested awhile back, to simply sing a pop song “jazz style” because you have a nice voice…

Thank you! Do they accept other genres such as musical theater as well?

Classical and Jazz only.
