Hi everyone! I'm applying to Vassar Early decision, and I wanted to submit some of my drawings/photography, but I don't plan on majoring in art (although I do want to take some art classes). In this case, would it make more sense for me to do an arts supplement or just attach my art to the Your Space section?

Thanks in advance!

Nothing to lose, go for it.

If you think your art is good, you might want to do an arts submission. It shows you’re serious about it. Your Space is much less important to the admissions people.

Vassar uses Slideroom to upload artwork for an art supplement. It’s the best (and easiest) method to submit an art supp., so by all means, do it! If you feel you have a strong portfolio of work, then submit the art supp. regardless of whether you plan to major (or minor) in art. You can use Your Space for something else that is personal to you and shows adcoms another side to you.
