As a transfer, am I locked into my current major?

I got accepted into the College of Health and Human Development for summer session and I’ll have junior status. A general undergrad major and grad school was originally the plan, but money is becoming more of an issue (PSU definitely isn’t cheap). I’d like to major in something within the College of Agriculture in case I need to work immediately after graduation. It says you declare a major in the spring of your sophomore year, so I’m a little doubtful about whether or not I’ll be able to change colleges/majors. On the plus side, the only requirement to declare the new major is 27.1 credits. Any info helps.

Well we don’t really have a “general undergrad degree” - but You should discuss this with the admissions office, and do some research on your new major to see if you have the prerequisite classes and ETM classes completed in order to be able to finish the degree in 2 years. I’d contact the adviser for your new desired major as well.

By general I meant it’s interdisciplinary. It’s called Biobehavioral Health and you can’t really do much with the degree itself. I guess I’ll see what my advisor now has to say.
