A question for you I have not seen answered anywhere on the internet:

I graduated from a solid liberal arts college with a good GPA but not amazing (3.42) in History. After a few years as a paralegal, I decided to leave the legal path and made a very big jump to being an Executive Assistant at a very prestigious risk consultancy. I am very happy and plan on staying here a while, and when I apply later in my 20's I should be able to tell a good story about advancement/expanding roles, especially as the company is expanding rapidly. The gist of my question is, is it possible to get into a prestigious B school with my main credential an administrative/assistant type role? It almost seems like a non-starter - everyone in the examples I read start in finance or as consultants or in IT or something heady like that.

Everyone says it's not the experience but what you make of it, but why do I have the sinking suspicion that this particular experience is just not going to work?...
