(ASAP) UT Austin vs Vandy/WashU & Cornell/NU

I have been admitted to UT Austin Plan II Honors & Polymathic Scholars (not exactly sure why I applied to the science school as well and I might try transferring to BHP). However, recently I got into Vanderbilt (CAS) and Washington University St. Louis (CAS) as well.

My most important criteria are extracurricular opportunities, grad placement, and just overall academic and social success. Cost is not a huge factor but can be a tie-breaker (UT is about 20-25k a year, Vandy & WashU are 60-75k a year; however, regardless of the price I will not have to go into debt/ it won’t have an immense impact on family)

With that in mind, I am 50/50 between prelaw and business (I’m going to try transferring to BHP/mccombs next year most likely and Plan II at UT should help for law), although the only thing I know for certain is I’m not premed. I am already leaning towards UT because, in my mind, it offers similar opportunities (with honors) to the other two while being cheaper and maybe even a better atmosphere.

I was wondering if others could weigh into this decision, and, if in the unlikely case I get off any waitlists, if you could throw Northwestern and Cornell into the mix as well.

thanks - PS I only have till May 1st lol.

Savings of at least $35,000 per year & at least $50,000 per year are significant to most although not to you & your family, therefore you would need to list reasons important to you for preferring any of your other schools in order for one to reasonably recommend any school other than UTexas at Austin.

Edit: assume cost is not a factor then
