Will an Asian-American (male) have an easier time getting into a Mid-West or East-Coast college and a harder time getting into a West-Coast College just because of their race?

No. It's a general rule that Asian-American males will have a harder time getting into any college anywhere than other races. The exception is if the school has an underrepresented Asian population, but for most of the better schools, this is a rarity. I actually think that the west-coast schools (especially tech-oriented) care less about race than the east coast schools, so an Asian-American male might have a better shot in the west...

even for top LACs, like middlebury, wesleyan, amherst? Not many asians apply to those schools

Asians aren't considered minorities out west, silly. Take the UC's for example -- like Berkeley. Isn't the Asian population there like 40%? Wouldn't that technically work against you?

lol yeah like i know one of the UC's actually has a higher asian population than the caucasion population. Talk about a lot of asians.

UC does not practice AA. Race cannot interfer with adsmissions there. Being asian is not a disadvantage there
