<p>Hello,</p>

<p>Due to the financial times, I not able to afford the elite of private colleges which many of your are applying to. Although I would probably get into these colleges (like HYPSMC for example) given good essays, ailing parents cannot pay for such an education. Therefore, I restricting myself to only applying to the still very good UC system. I would appreciate you chancing me.</p>

<p>SAT: 2080 (800M, 650C, 630W) I don't know how bombed so epically.
SAT subjects: 800 Math II, 800 Literature, 760 Chem
GPA: 3.8/4.0 unweighted
Rank: 50/350
APs: 5s on chem, physics B, calc BC. 4s on physics C mech, microecon. 3 on us history.</p>

<p>Ehhh, it’s a bit of a far reach, to say the least, for HYPSMC. Although, it’s always worth a shot, especially with the aid packages nowadays. But they’re VERY far reaches unless you knock your SAT score up 200+ </p>

<p>Let’s hope your post isn’t representative of your essays =P.</p>

<p>Otherwise, I’d say in at UCLA, in good shape for Berkeley. </p>
