I want to visit JHU, but my parents don't really want to go during the week.
I've been invited to an "Asian Perspective" weekend, and the dates are good for me, but I'm worried about missing the regular tour.
Would the Asian Perspective weekend be as good as admit days in gauge the feel of the school?

Is there any possibilities at all of JHU paying for campus visits?

Well I am hispanic and I have purposely avoided most of the multicultural events at schools I have been admitted to. I’d rather get a feel for the school in its entirety than just a minority (no pun intended) of the student body .

I’m not sure exactly what the Asian Perspectives weekend includes, but I would guess it would give you a good overview of campus. If you’re worried about missing the regular tour, just come earlier in Friday and take the tour and then go for the Asian Perspectives weekend. If you have specific questions, email one of the Asian Perspectives directors
