<p>I think I’ve been reading too many affirmative/negative action type threads on this forum that now I’m getting scared. heh heh… I’m Asian, yes I participate in Mu Alpha Theta and math competitions(even though i didn’t win xD ) and I overall feel math is my best subject. However, on my SAT my highest was CR (800) math was 710… go figure! does that mean that I stand out because that is atypical of an Asian? XD</p>
<p>I face the nerdy stereotype in high school… it was probably encouraged by the fact I wore khakis, polos, and oval glasses (apparently my classmates say that’s what nerds dress like) most of the time. But next year my classmates will face a new wardrobe(and now rectangular glasses!) so I hope that quells the comments about being a nerd. heh heh</p>
