Would our shipping address for Amazon be
Address Line1: One Pentland Way
Address Line2: Box# ###
Also, on my Housing brochure it said that my mailing address was one petland way, but I guess theres a little misspell?

Oh wow my mailing address also says petland. I didn’t even notice that before! x]

I just realized that my mailing address is Aberdeen drive, but I live in Lothian. Is that an error or do AI and Lothian share the same address?

Is anyone else not able to purchase a parking permit?

Moving day is extremely crowded, right?? I was hoping to get there early but my designated time is 12 noon!! I have awful parking karma so I’m dreading the parking lot!

Any words of wisdom for that day?

east lo address is

w. big springs rd.

–

there’s a designated time? i don’t remember that haha i was one of the first like… 20 people there. i got everything done so early. i also got the better side of the room. FOSHO. trust, you don’t want the side with the window. it means you get the sun shining in your face first thing in the morning.

Oh, yeah, we got designated times. In fact, we better not show up before that time or else… Maybe it’s the first year they’re trying to control the chaos. But it clearly states that you will not be allowed to enter the parking lot if you arrive before your designated time. It does say that the times were based on room assignments and all roommates were given the same time. It will be very interesting alright.

if a class says open but right next to it, it says 0 spots available, what does that mean? can i still get the class?

that mean growl has issues and it closed

I’m a Bio Major freshmen that took Math 8A during summer bridge. I planned to take Math 8B,Chem1A, and English 1A during the fall. However I didn’t pass the class during summer. So I have dropped the Math 8B class and already signed up for a math 8A class. But I’m not sure what to do about the Chemistry class. Besides that I heard there are only 3 retakes allowed during my undergrad, and that my previous grade will still appear on my transcript besides the new grade I earn. Are there any other things I should worry about since I have already failed a class despite it being during the summer? I know that if you have under a 2.0 gpa you can be removed from Bio major or rescinded or something along the lines… I still wish to take Chemistry but I don’t think I will be allowed to. Right now I’m thinking I have to drop that Chem Class and sign up for a GE, humanities, or social science class for the fall. Is that possible? are there any prereq’s to those classes? Any help would be appreciated Thanks.

social science and humanities classes tend to be a lot more flexible, in that most of them don’t have prerequisites. You’re not gonna need knowledge in, say, sociology, to take a class in anthropology. So yeah you’ll be fine

By the way… a 66% in my math 8A class was passing, I got a 62.xx% in the class so I guess that would be a D. but that’s still considered failing right? I still have to retake the class.

why doesnt growl work?

I guess it overloaded on the amount of students trying to complete the alcohol edu test. lol

I’m moving in as a Freshman for the first quarter. However I’m planning on moving out into a house the 2nd quarter. Is there going to be any problems with this? Will I still get FInancial Aid as a Commuter?

Assuming it’s a house that you’ll have to pay for/rent, then yeah you’ll get finAid for housing. If it’s something like your parents’ house then probably not…they might pay for food tho

do you know if it’d be a issue with the housing people if I moved out 2nd quarter?

yeah I remember reading a cancellation form for the housing contract…apparently it takes some serious emergencies for them to let you move out

It might be a good idea for you to notify them in advance

Yeah and you’ll probably have to pay to cancel the contract too…

I had to fight with housing just to let me cancel my contract a month ago and it cost me 250.

So if I dont choose to have my refund direct deposited, how is it sent to me?
