<p>I haven't been on here in awhile, but I've returned and I know that people are trying to make their choices right around now. When I was applying (both times) nobody in my major really offered anything on here, so if you have any questions for a sports management student or a transfer student ask away.</p>
<p>Thank you for posting on here. I am trying to transfer from Villanova because I am pursuing a sports management degree. I applied to Michigan and NYU, but didn’t get into Michigan. Even though it sucks I didn’t get in, I really want to go to NYU, and there’s a good chance I would’ve gone to NYU over Michigan anyway. Anything you can tell me about the program? I feel like there’s not a lot of info out there about NYU’s program, especially since it’s a huge school and SCPS kids are hard to find.</p>
<p>Wow I totally forgot about this for like a month. My bad on that one. Anyway, the program is really what you put into it. The teachers are very knowledgeable, but not particularly academically demanding. The school offers a ton of internships, but you have to go out and get them. It’s a great program for someone willing to really work their ass off for it. The people are generally pretty nice, obviously a bit more jockish than the rest of the NYU community, but it’s not bad. It’s pretty closely knit by NYU standards, most of the people in the program know most of the others.</p>

<p>What is life like in NYC and at NYU? If you are a non-gay guy from the west coast is it hard to fit in?? why did you decide to transfer? is it easy to make friends at NYU, do students talk in class and are friendly in the dorms? I want to study in CAS for economics or poly-sci. What are the dorms at NYU like? Do you live on campus and are you involved in any clubs? how did you feel like your transfer went? did they have an orientation for transfer students and such? where r you from and do you get much time to travel throughout and explore NYC?</p>
