Thank you so much! That was really helpful...

Good to hear about all of the non-major options and also that transferring is possible (if difficult) if I decide I like the film side more!

But yeah, at this point it's a toss up between being a film/music critic or actually being the one making the movies and music. That's what I like about USC, though; they just have such strong programs in all the areas I'm interested in, and lots of options for people who are confused, haha.

Thanks again!

misssuperfantastic be aware: transferring into screenwriting adds 4 years, regardless of how long you've been in college

and mad-toast, i know you applied to production as choice 1. is it too much to ask, i was wondering what you wrote for your most intense emotional moment. or (hehe) if you've been chilling with some production majors, could i maybe have an example subject? i know what i want to write about, but the whole "colleges not liking emotionally unstable people" thing makes me worried about whether i should

I'm curious about what people wrote about for that too. hust turned in my application for cinema on Friday (im already here so i can apply for spring semester) and I just wrote about getting caught inside my school during a fire drill in first grade and i thought it was a real fire but I wasn't sure if that was too trivial of a topic. I guess I can't really change it now but I'm still curious to hear what worked because I'm going to re-apply for fall if i dont get in
