Any suggestions on good generic questions to ask when asked to ask questions in an interview?

What was your favorite thing about college X?
Any surprising experiences?
What did you study?
Did you play sports?
Are students active in community service/theatre/sports/etc?

How is the dorm life?
How is the cafeteria food? (heh - I've gotten really funny comments from this one)
How is the climate (say you're applying to a Maine school when you live in CA).
What is the first word that comes to your mind about the students at your college?
How did you think training at your college benefitted your future work?
What sets your college apart from other colleges?

good thread idea, but remember you dont want all your questions to be generic or you're just another generic applicant

^I disagree, you want to add a question or two about yourself 'How's the studio art program' or 'Do you guys have ultimate frisbee'. But otherwise, asking questions is just a way to show that you're interested and engaged as far as college X is concerned.

generic questions are exactly what you don't want. They show you haven't done the research to ask specific questions about that school reflecting you and your interests.

I agree with mikemac.
To be honest, all your questions that you ask in an interview should be geared towards the interviewers life at the college. Not trying to attain facts about it because then it would show that you didn't do your research on the college. Especially if you claim its your "Dream school"

"what's my chance of rejection?"
