Ask universities to hurry up?

OK, so I applied for a fellowship/scholarship over a month ago, and I still haven’t heard back. I emailed the uni and asked for an update about 2 weeks ago, but got no reply. Should I email them again?

I’m afraid if I keep bugging them, it’ll just annoy them and destroy any chance I had of getting the fellowship…What should I do??

A month really isn’t that long. Waiting is just part of life. I wouldn’t send any more emails.

I know, but I really need to know soon, since I’m only willing to enroll at that uni on the condition I get that fellowship, and I have to finalize my grad school choice asap (I mean the fall term is almost starting already!!).

What do you mean? It’s only mid-July. You have another month or so…

A month isn’t long enough. Maybe you could email them and ask when you can expect a response, but a month is definitely not long enough.
