I wrote some essays for common app. Should I send different essay for different school?
For example, I want to send my essay common app for school X, while sending a different essay for school Y. Is it OK for common app essay? Please help me soon. Thanks.</p>
<p>yes you can do that.
When sending the common app online you need to only select the schools you want to send together, send them, then click on the "copy app" link, and submit it to the other schools.
I submitted it seperatly 6 times to different schools.</p>
<p>My S wanted to send one essay to two schools and then send a slightly different version to two others at a later date. When I went to send to the first two schools electronically, I got a message indicating that once the application was sent that it could not be edited, but that additional schools could be added later. That meant if I sent it, he couldn't send a different version to the other schools. So, instead what I did was print out the app. and have him sign it. Then mailed to those two schools via snail mail. Later he did the revised essay and put into the app. That essay was sent to the final two schools electronically last week. </p>
