Asking for More $$$$$

Hello!

I applied and got accepted to Northeastern back in Dec. I received a merit scholarship but I would like to know if I will be receiving a financial aid packet anytime soon. On my scholarship paper it said that it was "tentative" and I would need to file my FAFSA and CSS (I think I should receive need-based aid). I filed the FAFSA and CSS and on my NEU account it shows that both forms have been processed by the school. Should I contact the school and ask about a new financial aid packet?
Also, NEU is my first choice right now. I have been accepted at more "prestigious" institutions with more money but really want to go there instead. Is there a way to ask for more money? Is it better to call and talk to a financial aid person or send a letter?

Any help is inmensely appreciated!

Yes contact NEU.

What was your FAFSA EFC? Is it possible that your merit scholarship award makes you NOT have further financial need?

True, but at the very least the Stafford loans should show up.
