far would be UC (no recommendation required), MIT's mymit.edut, Common App.
Do I need to figure out which colleges I am applying to before asking for the
recommendation? Or will submitting one recommendation each to Common App and
mymit do the trick?</p>
<p>Perfectly acceptable. They just need to upload one version on common app and then it appears for all your applications. So no, you don’t need to have it all figured out at all.</p>
<p>Unless you are planning to mail them, which I wouldn’t recommend, so much more work</p>
<p>That is perfectly fine and often the norm if the student approached the teachers by the end of Junior.</p>
