I suspect there are many with ASD. Does anyone have experience with successes or failures of aspies at RPI?

My son is very high functioning but has his gaps. Is their disability office very helpful?

Thx

I can’t comment on the disabilities office specifically, but I can tell you that every interaction I’ve had with any office/person at RPI has been positive, and they often go above and beyond what I expect.
My son is a freshman. At the end of April, 2 choices were left. I considered RPI the better choice, and among the reasons was their willingness to get back with you promptly, and/or often getting someone on the line the first time you call.

Thank you!

The disabilities office is indeed wonderful, I have never heard anything negative about how they treat students. Additionally, Dean Smith is an awesome guy who works very well with students.

Thank you. We will be visiong for accepted students day on April 13. I think DS needs to appreciate the value of self advocating as well! As long as there is an open ear, he needs to learn how to reach out.
