I’m currently a junior in high school signing up for senior year classes. My dream school is Boston College, and I’d like to apply to the Carroll School of Management (CSOM) for some sort of business major. The acceptance rate for CSOM (around 28%) is less than the acceptance rate for the college as a whole (32%) and I was wondering what I could do to increase my chances of getting accepted to the CSOM regarding senior year classes.

I’m taking AP Calc AB this year, should I take AP Calc BC next year or AP Stats? My SAT prep/college apps tutor told me colleges know AP Stats is easier than AP Calc BC, but what would look better for a prospective business major(or does it not matter)?

I’ll be taking AP English Lit as well as Physics, AP Euro, and AP Spanish Lang. For my two electives, should I try to take Economics and/or Finance/Accounting classes as well?

Is high school Econ generally difficult/a lot of work? I want to take any classes that would help me get in to BC, but I want to be able to manage my course load at the same time.

For what it’s worth, my superscored SAT (two tests) is a 2140.
CR 730
Math 680
Writing 730

Thanks in advance to everyone!
