Assessing individual states' university systems..

<p>I think PA should be top 5ish as far as states go…</p>

<p>PSU is a bit big, i’ll say that, but most kids start at branch campuses anyways that are VERY inexpensive, small, and still provide a great education. You really can’t beat PSU for team spirit or alumni programs</p>

<p>Pitt is also a rising star. It’s cheap, fantastic for medicine, and has some really cutting edge stuff. The branch campuses are awesome as well</p>

<p>Temple is a great choice out in Philly. </p>

<p>And then we have the Clarions, IUPs, Bloomsburg, Shippensburgs. They aren’t fantastic, but they do give great opportunities to lesser students.</p>

<p>rocket6louise, I agree that PA is great, but I just don’t like the branch campus system that PA utilizes. It’s weird, but I’ll admit that it works well for them, or else PSU and Pitt would be utterly overcrowded beyond the present condition, and they’ve worked it out so that everyone gets an equal shot at a degree from the main campus.</p>
