<p>My school form is marked as Assigned even though I already submitted the application like a week ago. However, there are Downloaded by College for teacher's recommendations and some of counselor's parts. Is Assigned same as Completed in regard to School Form?</p>
<p>Assigned means you’ve delegated the task to the school official but that he/she has not completed the task.</p>
<p>Ice Qube, I’m not sure that is accurate. My son’s School Form says “Assigned” (when you look at the list under “My Colleges” under the one college he has applied to, ED, so far—the list says School Form, Payments, Supplements, and Application, if I recall). Yet when you go into his School Form, it is clear that the school official HAS completed the task: next to counselor it says “Submitted (date)” and next to each teacher’s name it says “Submitted (date)”. Perhaps it says “Assigned” until all of the upcoming parts of the School Form are in–ie the Mid-Year Report (done in Jan after 1st semester is over) and the End-of-Year Report. Or one other CC’er posted a guess that it always stays “Assigned” because all the student himself does is to “assign” it to teachers/counselors , and then his job is done.</p>
