Assistance needed with choosing a Pre-Med College

Hello there, I am in need of some dire assistance in choosing a college that specializes in providing a pre-med track for you to get you ready for medical school. I've done some reading and I'm pretty sure I don't want to go to some super good college where I will have trouble getting a high class rank or GPA. My original choices are:
1) UNC
2) Wake Forest
3) University of Florida
4) University of South Florida(has a pre-med track)
5) Johns Hopkins
6) Stanford
7) University of Chicago

But now I'm starting to look for more colleges that have pre-med tracks like Davidson, Knox, e.t.c. So if anyone could help me compile a list of possible colleges with pre-med tracks that would provide me a higher chance of getting a top class rank, that'd be great. Currently I'm a senior in high school and I am class rank 14 out of 505 students. Unweighted GPA - 3.89, Weighted - 4.58

Thank you for taking the time to read this, I can provide anymore additional information you need to help me. Thanks again! :)

Johns Hopkins has a great pre-med track, but it is probably one of the most difficult in the nation. The same is probably true with Stanford and U Chicago. The thing is that it will be hard at any college with a good pre-med track to get the top rank, well because that college has a good pre-med track. If you are worried about not getting the best gpa I would suggest that you go to a large state school (honors college?) and then take the prerequisites for pre-med (pretty much standard) and then you can prepare by yourself. The pre-med forum is actually a really good place to get started.

Doesn't really matter, I'm sure all those schools have good pre-med advising.

I wouldn't worry about things like "pre-med track", that's really not a factor you should consider in deciding which school to go to. Undergrad is not just a stepping stone to med school, and being pre-med is nothing special; it just means you take a few pre-req courses and the MCAT. Choose a school that is a best fit for you, where you see yourself happy, challenged by coursework, and also able to do well.

Check out the premed forum, and read the FAQ first:
