Assistance to Calculate Overall GPA for TAG UCD

Hello,

Fall 2014-Spring 2015: (These courses were taken at a CSU and are transferable to UCD)
Course 1: B Units - 3
Course 2: B Units - 3
Course 3: B Units - 3

Fall 2015:
Course 1: A Units - 3
Course 2: A Units - 3
Course 3: A Units - 3
Course 4: A Units - 3

Spring 2016: (These course grades are what I project them to be)
Course 1: A Units - 3
Course 2: B Units - 3
Course 3: C Units - 3
Course 4: B Units - 4

I need some assistance to calculate my GPA. A counselor who I had spoke to said this was a below a 3.2 (Overall GPA required to TAG). However when I input them into a GPA calculator, it shows a total of 3.35 overall GPA.

What are your guy’s thoughts?

When you submit a TAG you have to do it through the UC TAP site and under coursework you input all your grades and classes you’ve taken so far and it calculates your GPA for you. I don’t know if you can sign up for it now, but you can try.

@boxandwhiskers Yes I did. However, it won’t calculate the transferable CSU units I took into the overall GPA.

You still need to include them, but UC’s only look at your UC GPA (ASSIST certified courses GPA), not the overall GPA.

@boxandwhiskers My bad I meant to say: Yes I did. However, it won’t calculate the transferable CSU units I took into the UC GPA (ASSIST certified courses GPA). Since it only works with Community Colleges not CSUs.
