Associate degree vs Bachelor's? Regarding Job employment.

I plan on getting my Associate's Degree in Business Adminstration from my local Community College, then transfer to IUPUI-Kelly School of Business, which is ranked in the top ten in the US, to complete my bachelor's degree in business adminstration-Managment.

THE QUESTION: After I get my BA then look for a job? Will it matter to them if my first two years of college was at a Community College or not?

Thanks.

No (10 chars)

no again . .

No, it doesn’t matter.

However I want to make a point, you need to transfer into Indiana University - Kelly School of Business, NOT Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis - Kelly School of Business. This is similar to calling your alma mater University of Michigan while graduating from University of Michigan - Dearborn. An IUPUI - Kelly degree is not worth nearly as much as an IU - Kelly degree.

I agree with you my friend, but IUB-Kelly is so hard to deal with, in-order to apply to them I’ll have to spend a semester at IU, before applying to them, PLUS any class transfered with a grade of B- would be a high reason to get rejected, in the other hand, IUB-Kelly school doesn’t allow business classes to be transfered they only want theirs.

Make a long story short, if I really wanted to get an IUB-Kelly degree, which is not worth it at all, it would take me at least take 5.5 to 6 years(because I’m taking refesher courses this semester). You see? But yeah, in the end your totally right IUB-Kelly is way better than the IUPUI one, but yeah what the heck after I gradute I won’t be living in the states anymore, so it would be a lot easier getting a job.

Thanks for the replies everybody! I really appreciate them.
