Associate's degree in CS plus Bachelor of Arts Degree?

I’ve been going through a tough time deciding what I want to do. I was accepted to a school (undeclared major) in college of Letters and Science. I’ve recently been on leave of absence as I’ve had to rethink what I really want to do with my academics. I’m currently on track to completing classes in community college necessary to transfer to a four-year as a CS major. However, although my grades aren’t excelling as of now, they are quite decent. I’m certainly not getting any Cs on my transcript. That said, I’ve been a little pessimistic about my chances of being accepted into a school as a CS transfer student just because most CS departments in universities are heavily impacted. So, I’m considering going back to my old school to get a Bachelor of Arts degree in a major to complement my hypothetical Associate’s Degree in CS. I was wondering if anyone else has thought about a similar plan and/or has met people who have gone down that path. Is it viable in terms of scoring a decent job?

Thanks to anyone who has the time to respond to this.

Why don’t you apply for the major you want? Go see your school’s transfer coordinator to discuss your options.

I wouldn’t ever let a school tell me what to major in. You have the grades to complete a CS degree. Just find a school that will accept you.
