I'm in the CAS and am currently a bio major but more undecided right now and I might switch to econ or physics later. Recently decided that pre-med might not be for me. But i've always been good at math and science and liked it too. I also am interested in the topics covered by these courses.

So I was wondering, which one should i sign up? I was thinking about taking one of these to just explore my interests and also cover some of my prerequisites to graduate at the same time.

I initially signed up for 1101 but I recently read and found out about 2211 and I am considering changing it to 2211 during orientation week when we can modify and finalize our schedules. It says it's more math and theoritical based and intended for engineering and physics students. Even though I'm not an engineer or a physics major, would I be able to take it and handle it? Should I take it over 1101? I have no problem with math really.

I also heard 1101 is a joke and you don't really learn anything. Do you learn more about the universe and such in 2211 and how hard is it? I looked at the median grades for the two classes and they're about the same, so I assume that 2211 might involve more math and theortical thinking but it's not too much harder?

Also, I think since i'm going to be taking linear algebra, I will be able to fulfill the math prerequisites?

Finally, any comments on the professor? I couldn't find him on ratemyprof. Thanks
